Pantheon Apartments Kos Town Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Pantheon Apartments Kos Town, you’ll find yourself at the corner of Bouboulinas and Herodotou streets — honestly, it’s one of those spots where you immediately think “okay, this is exactly where I want to be.” The building itself has that clean, modern Greek island vibe without trying too hard, and you can tell right away that this three-star property punches above its weight. I mean, the location alone makes it feel more upscale than you’d expect.
Location That Actually Matters
Here’s the thing about Kos Town — location is everything, and these apartments absolutely nail it. You’re literally in the heart of the old town, which means the ancient agora ruins are practically next door, and the harbor with all its cafes and evening buzz is just a few minutes’ walk. What I love is that couples consistently rate this spot a 9.2, and honestly, I get it — there’s something romantic about being able to stroll to dinner along cobblestone streets, then walk back through the medieval old town. The property sits in what locals consider the top-rated area, and that 9.3 location score isn’t just marketing fluff.
The Apartment Experience
Each apartment feels more like a temporary home than a hotel room, which is exactly what you want when you’re staying somewhere for more than a night or two. The layouts are thoughtful — you’ve got proper living spaces, and the kitchen setups actually work for real cooking (not just reheating leftovers). I particularly appreciate that they haven’t crammed too much furniture into the spaces; there’s room to actually unpack and settle in. The modern touches blend well with traditional Greek elements, so you never forget where you are.
Daily Life and Practical Perks
What really works here is how easy everything becomes once you’re settled. The local bakery is right around the corner — you know, the kind where locals actually go for their morning coffee and koulouri. Parking can be tricky in this part of town (it’s pedestrian-heavy), but the staff knows the area well enough to point you toward the best options. The port is close enough that you can catch ferries to other islands without any hassle, and the main shopping street runs parallel to your location, so you’re never far from whatever you need.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t the fanciest place on Kos, but it gets the fundamentals so right that you end up having a better time than at some of the flashier resorts. The combination of being in the absolute center of everything while still having your own space — that’s the sweet spot for island travel. You can walk to the Plane Tree of Hippocrates in five minutes, grab dinner at any number of excellent tavernas, and still come back to a quiet, comfortable base. For couples especially, there’s something perfect about having this much independence while being surrounded by all the charm that makes Kos Town special.

Great value. Nice, large rooms and very close to the harbor. I think this is very good value for the money. There is no staff on site but this is not so important

Perfect location and for us as we were staying in Kos for a ferry, perfect for a stopover
Anthony from United Kingdom (8/10)
Excellent location for ferry access, close to good tavernas and surprisingly quiet for central Kos.
The room was clean, with a bijou back balcony, helpfully shady in the hot afternoons. Good aircon. Its facilities are basic: kettle, fridge, hotplate, sundry-sparse utensils and cutlery, glasses etc. We stayed there twice, at the beginning and end of island hopping.
The property has no reception – arrival and check-in done by phone and/or text.Eva from Slovenia (9/10)
The owner lady is very nice, also the location is perfect. Direct in the city centre with the view for the sea. Close to the restaurants. The room was good for a couple. Great value for the money.
