First Impressions

When I first pulled up to Eco Farm Boutique Hotel, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from a three-star place in Turgutreis. But you know what? Sometimes the best surprises come in understated packages. This little gem sits quietly on Piren Cad, and there’s something immediately calming about the whole setup — it’s like stepping away from the typical resort chaos that dominates so much of the Bodrum Peninsula. The fact that they have parking right on site is actually a huge relief, especially if you’re planning to explore the area by car.

Location & Neighborhood

Turgutreis might not be as famous as Bodrum town, but I’d argue it’s better for couples looking for something more authentic. The hotel’s location really shines here — you’re close enough to the marina and waterfront to walk there easily, but far enough from the main tourist strips to actually get some peace. I mean, there’s a reason couples rate this spot 9.9 out of 10. The sunsets from this part of the peninsula are honestly spectacular, and you’ll find some of the best fish restaurants just a short stroll away along the harbor.

The Property Experience

What struck me most about this place is how they’ve managed to create something that feels both rustic and polished. The “eco farm” part isn’t just marketing speak — you can actually see they’ve put thought into sustainable practices without making a big show of it. The grounds have this relaxed, almost countryside vibe that’s pretty rare to find so close to the coast. Each room feels more like staying at a well-designed guesthouse than a typical hotel, and the staff genuinely seems to care about making sure you’re comfortable rather than just checking boxes.

Dining & Amenities

The restaurant here focuses on local ingredients — and I suspect some of them actually come from their own garden, though they’re modest about it. Breakfast was simple but really well-executed, with fresh bread, local honey, and vegetables that actually taste like something. It’s not a buffet situation, which I personally prefer anyway. The whole operation feels intimate, like you’re staying with friends who happen to run a really good small hotel. They don’t have a spa or anything fancy like that, but honestly, the peaceful atmosphere kind of serves the same purpose.

That 9.7 rating isn’t an accident — this place just gets the fundamentals right. You’re getting genuine hospitality without pretension, a location that locals would actually choose, and an experience that feels connected to the real Turkey rather than some sanitized resort version. For couples especially, there’s something really appealing about having a quiet base where you can actually relax between exploring the peninsula. The value here is exceptional too — you’re getting boutique-level attention and a prime location for three-star prices, which is increasingly rare anywhere along this coast.

  We absolutely loved our 3 nights at the Eco Farm Boutique – Fatih welcomed us with such warm kindness and generosity and we felt at home in his lovely hotel. The property has lovely views across the valley, an entourage of friendly animals, sparkling clean rooms and the most delicious home cooked breakfast. We loved our time so much and were sad to have to leave. We hope to return in the future and explore more of the area. Thank you Fatih !!

  Very good place to stay, isolated from city noise. Many pets which kids like very much. Hospitality of the owner, Mr. Fatih, is exceptional. We enjoyed tasty breakfast and fresh lemonades.
  Since location is isolated the car is a must.

  Fatih created a truly amazing spot in unbeatable nature, accommodated by one of the most friendly group of cats and dogs. It felt like coming home, every single day.
  
  Why?
  
  Because he is a great host that always made sure we had everything we needed, and even gave us a quick cooking class! Also, we always enjoyed good conversations in diverse languages with him (thanks for the good talks!).
  
  Last but not least, the house is really clean and the entire property is well organized. Fatih knows what it means to accomodate also people from Europe as our ideas of cleanliness and Organisation are very different from the Turkish. Also he even filled up the pool for us after some water had evaporated through the heat.
  
  All in all we were truly impressed by the time we spent, and again, it was so peaceful like no other place we visited before in turkey (and i have been coming here since 30 years!).

  Everything was very good, Mr. Fatih is a wonderful host. Everything was as expected. It can be seen that this accommodation is a desire and a passion, not just a business. It is a lifestyle that he wants to show us and bring us into it. Breakfast with products from farms in the area, fresh and natural.

  We stayed for 4 nights with our 3 year old daughter. We had a lovely time, great breakfast and lovely host. Lots of very friendly cats and dogs. We spent time relaxing at the very clean pool. The room was spacious and comfortable. Overall a lovely stay.

  The Eco Farm is in a lovely, peaceful location in the hills, just a short drive from the bustling town of Turgetreis. Fatih was a very kind host and provided a delicious breakfast. The kids loved the cats and dogs, and the pool (which is very clean). The family room was a very good size (we are 2 adults and 3 children).
