First Impressions

Walking up to The Heart of Kos, you immediately get why they chose that name — this three-star hotel sits right in the pulse of Kos Town, and honestly, the location couldn’t be better. The building itself has that clean, Mediterranean charm without trying too hard, and there’s something refreshing about a place that knows exactly what it is. You’re not getting marble lobbies or over-the-top flourishes here, but what you do get is a genuine warmth that feels more authentic than many of the flashier places I’ve stayed.

Location & Getting Around

Here’s what I love about staying here — you can actually walk everywhere that matters. The ancient Agora is literally a few minutes on foot, and the harbor with all its waterfront restaurants is just as close. I mean, you could easily spend your entire stay exploring on foot without ever needing transportation. The fact that they offer free parking on-site is honestly a game-changer if you’re planning to rent a car and explore the rest of the island (which you absolutely should). Most places in this part of town charge for parking or make you hunt for street spots.

The Rooms

The rooms strike that perfect balance between comfort and practicality — they’re not huge, but they’re thoughtfully laid out with everything you actually need. Air conditioning works well (crucial during those sweltering July afternoons), and the beds are genuinely comfortable. What I appreciated most was how quiet it stays despite being in the heart of town — the windows do a good job blocking out the street noise, so you can sleep peacefully even when the bars nearby are still going.

Why Couples Love It

There’s definitely something romantic about the whole setup here, and I can see why couples rate it so highly. The rooftop area gives you these lovely views over the old town, especially at sunset when the light hits the ancient stones just right. It’s intimate without being stuffy — you know what I mean? You can grab a bottle of wine from one of the nearby shops and just enjoy the evening breeze up there. The staff seems to understand that couples want their space but also appreciate little thoughtful touches.

And honestly, after a long day of exploring ancient ruins or lounging on Lambi Beach, coming back here feels like returning to a comfortable base rather than just another hotel room.

  Our stay at this apartment was truly memorable, and a big part of that was thanks to the wonderful hosts, Nikos and Dionisia. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and made us feel right at home. Their warm hospitality really added a special touch to our family holiday.
  
  The location of the apartment is fantastic. It’s just a short walk to Kos town centre, where all the major tourist attractions, restaurants, and shops are located. Being able to stroll into town in just a few minutes made exploring so convenient. Additionally, the apartment is only a 10-minute drive from the Hippocrates Museum and the historic Asklepieion, which are must-visit sites in Kos.
  
  During our stay, we encountered some long waiting times in Kos, but Nikos was incredibly helpful in guiding us on how to navigate these challenges. His local knowledge was invaluable and helped us sort things out quickly, allowing us to focus on enjoying our holiday.
  
  Overall, our experience staying at this apartment made our family holiday in Kos truly unforgettable. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with fantastic hosts in a perfect location. We will definitely be returning in the future!

  Otel yöneticisi çok güleryüzlü ve ilgiliydi. Misafirperverlik de çok iyiydi.Odalara bırakılan ikramlar vardı. Odalar ,mutfak,banyolar temiz ve ferahtı.Çamaşır makinesi ,ütü,saç kurutma makinesi ,kahve makinesi,kettle …olması bizi evimizde hissettirdi. Kalmaktan keyif aldığımız yine gitmeyi tercih edeceğimiz bir yer oldu.

  Otelde odalar temiz, geniş ve aydınlık. Mutfak donanımlı ve gerekli malzemeler vardi ve çok tatlıydı. Bizim icin en şaşırtıcı ve keyifli olan kahve makinesi ve kahvesi ,dolapta meyve ve su olmasıydı. Sahipleri cok tatli insanlardi her zaman yardımcı olmaya hazırdı.Gittigimiz akşam bize rezervasyon yaptırmak için tavernalara telefon ettiler. Park sorunu yaşamadık. Bahce kısmının olması ayrica keyifliydi. Odalarda 2 kişilik büyük 1 yatak ve tek kişilik 1 yatak mevcut. Odaların penceresinde sineklikler bile vardi, Ayrıca konumu da harikaydı. Merkezde her yere yürüyerek ulaştık. Engelliler için de çok uygun sadece tek basamak çıkarak tesise giriyorsun ve içerisi geniş, Banyo tek fakat 2 tuvalet olmasi çok iyi ayrica çamaşır makinesi var. Biz çok memnun kaldık. Yine gelirsek yine kalırız. Herşey için teşekkür ederiz Nicos ve Dionas

  Nous étions les premiers « locataires » at avons vraiment réservé au dernier moment.
  Endroit bien situé, proche du centre mais suffisamment loin pour être au calme.
  Très grand et très propre.
