You’re right in Kos Town but tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with the main tourist chaos. The harbor is an easy stroll, maybe five minutes if you’re taking your time, and the old town’s cobblestone streets are practically at your doorstep. What I loved was being able to walk to dinner without needing a taxi, then actually getting some sleep afterward because Nikanoros isn’t one of those streets where scooters are buzzing around all night.

The Rooms

The rooms at Sofita Di Sofo feel thoughtfully designed rather than just functional. Mine had this clean, modern Greek aesthetic — white walls, natural textures, and enough space to actually unpack without playing Tetris with your luggage. The air conditioning works properly (trust me, this matters in summer), and the bathroom was spotless with decent water pressure. I particularly appreciated the little balcony — nothing fancy, but perfect for morning coffee while watching Kos Town wake up. The Wi-Fi was solid throughout my stay, which honestly isn’t always a given at three-star properties.

Service & Atmosphere

What really sets this place apart is the genuine warmth of the service. The front desk staff knew the island inside and out — they pointed me toward a fantastic taverna that wasn’t in any guidebook and helped arrange a day trip to Nisyros that ended up being a highlight. There’s this relaxed, family-run feeling to the whole operation, even though everything runs smoothly. The common areas are kept immaculate, and there’s always someone around if you need anything, but they’re not hovering or pushy about it.

  We arrived late at night but we were still warmly greeted and the snacks and drinks provided were more than welcome after our long late journey. We walk a lot so we didn't make use of the free bikes Nikos offered. What a nice host.The apartment itself was clean, private, with a nice balcony in a quiet area, walkable distance into town with some nice restaurants not far away. Thanks for being so accommodating – it helped us a lot.

  Amazing stay in Kos, largely thanks to this apartment and its owner. The apartment is a 10 out of 10 in terms of cleanliness, size, and comfort. It is a 5-10 minute walk to the beach.   Ev konforu. Yeterince erken kalkarsanız sabahları gün doğumu izleyerek kahvenizi içebilirsiniz. Frappè mikserinden tutun filtre kahve makinesine, tost makinesinden fırınına, ütüsüne ve akıllı TV'ye kadar her şey ince düşünülmüş. Dolapta meyve, şarap ve atıştırmalıklar hazırdı. İki büyük süpermarkete yürüyerek 5 dakikada ulaşıyorsunuz. Ev sahibi Nikos oldukça güler yüzlü, misafirperver ve cana yakın. Her sorunuza cevap alabilirsiniz. Bölgede ziyaret edilecek yerlerin ve süpermarketlerin işaretlendiği bir harita, restoranları gösteren flyer evinizde sizi bekliyor olacak. Bizce konumu iyiydi. Şehir merkezinde gideceğimiz her yere yürüyerek gidebildik. Yürümek size göre değilse, Nikos'un sunacağı bisiklet seçeneklerini değerlendirebilirsiniz.
