You know what’s really nice? There’s parking available for free, which is honestly a godsend in Greek island towns where finding a spot can be a nightmare.

The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable — nothing fancy, but everything worked properly and the air conditioning was a lifesaver during those hot August afternoons. The beds are actually decent quality, not the rock-hard mattresses you sometimes get at budget places. What struck me most was how well-maintained everything felt; you can tell the owners really care about keeping the place in good shape. The bathrooms are modern enough and the water pressure is solid, which matters more than you’d think after a day exploring the island.

Local Insights and Atmosphere

Mariangelas House sits in this sweet spot where you’re close enough to walk to Neratzia Castle and the ancient agora, but far enough from the port area to avoid the cruise ship crowds during the day. The neighborhood has a few local tavernas that tourists don’t usually find — there’s this place around the corner where the locals actually eat, and the staff at Mariangelas can point you in the right direction. The whole area feels more residential, so you get a better sense of what daily life is like in Kos Town.

  Everything was great about our stay. The location is 10/10. It’s only 1 min of walking to the beach. The house was clean and got everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. It is a quite street 7/24.

  The neighbors downstairs were lovely. Overall, I would recommend this place to everyone. One comment my daughter insisted me to write down is that the place needs a tall dressing mirror, but that’s just it 🙂

  Everything was great. The beach is nearby. There are many restaurants and a shop. You can park a car in front of the appartment. The city centre is walkable from here.

  Excellent apartments. Beautiful renovation. The kitchen has all the necessary equipment. From the beach 200 meters, to the city center or marina 10- 15 minutes walk. Supermarket right around the corner. No difficulty to park the car.

  Everything was new and very well planned. There was everything in the flat and the host was very hospitable.

  Управляющий апартаментами встретил нас лично в порту и доставил быстро в апартаменты. Там нас ждала бутылочка вина и фрукты, очень приятный комплимент! В квартире есть все необходимое: постельное белье по два комплекта, полотенца, стиральная машина , полное оснащение кухни – посуда, тостер. кофеварка, микроволновая печь. Отдельно хочется отметить санузел, очень грамотная конструкция душевой ! Мы очень много раз останавливались в Греции в апартаментах и зачастую с душем было много проблем, так как они открытые и вода постоянно была на полу. Хозяйка апартаментов также очень приятная женщина. Всегда была на связи и готова помочь. На прощание подарила нам сувенир ручной работы. Рядом с апартаментами, в 5 минутах хотьбы много ресторанов, магазины , пляжные зоны на любой вкус!. Спасибо за теплый прием!
