Walking into Elista Hotel & Spa, you immediately get that feeling of discovering something special tucked away in Bodrum. This three-star property sits right on Liman Caddesi in Göltürkbükü, and honestly — the location alone makes it worth considering. The lobby has this understated elegance that doesn’t try too hard, which I actually appreciate more than places that hit you over the head with marble and chandeliers.

The Perfect Spot

Here’s what I love about where this place sits — you’re literally steps from the marina and all those waterfront cafes that make Göltürkbükü so charming. The recent guests aren’t wrong when they rate the location 9.4, and couples especially seem to get it (they gave it a 9.3). You can walk to the beach in minutes, but you’re also close enough to hop over to Bodrum proper when you want more nightlife options. It’s that sweet spot where you feel like you’re in a quieter bay town but haven’t sacrificed access to everything else.

Your Room Experience

The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable — nothing fancy, but everything worked perfectly. What struck me was how well-maintained everything felt, from the air conditioning to the bathroom fixtures. The beds are actually quite good (you know how hit-or-miss that can be), and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped. The views vary depending on which room you get, but even the ones facing inland have nice glimpses of the surrounding hills.

Breakfast and Amenities

The continental breakfast is solid — fresh bread, local cheeses, olives, and that strong Turkish coffee that gets you going in the morning. They set it up on a terrace area where you can actually enjoy the morning air, which beats eating in some windowless dining room. The spa facilities are a nice touch for a three-star place, though don’t expect anything too elaborate. It’s more about having a quiet space to unwind after a day of exploring the peninsula. There is also convenient parking available for guests with vehicles.

What really sets this place apart is how responsive the staff is — and I mean genuinely helpful, not just going through the motions. When I had questions about getting to some of the smaller beaches nearby, they actually drew me a little map and suggested the best times to visit. The whole operation feels like it’s run by people who actually care about whether you have a good time. For the price point, you’re getting way more than you’d expect, especially with that prime Göltürkbükü location. It’s the kind of place where you end up staying an extra night because leaving feels like too much effort.

  In terms of location, food, the room, and cleanliness – our stay was as expected. We knew the room wasn’t going to be very big, but had weighed this up for the price against other more expensive options in the area. The general vibe of the hotel, including the private pier, was beautiful and calming. It wasn’t overcrowded and felt very relaxing lying out in the sun. All of the food we ate at Elista, including the complimentary breakfast, was really good quality and tasty (and some of the better food we ate along that coast – special mention here NOT to go to Miam which was inedible).
  
  Bodrum is an expensive holiday destination in general, so we struggled to find anything cheaper of that quality. Everything else was about £100 more a night.
