First Impressions

The Bellazure Hotel sits right on Atatürk Cad in the charming fishing village of Akyarlar, and honestly, the location couldn’t be better. This four-star property has that relaxed Aegean vibe you’re hoping for — not too fancy, but definitely polished enough that you feel like you’re treating yourself. The moment you pull up, you’ll notice the free parking right on site, which is actually a huge relief since finding a spot in these coastal towns can be a real headache during summer months.

The Perfect Bodrum Peninsula Escape

What I love about Akyarlar is that it’s still got that authentic Turkish village feel, even though it’s just a short drive from the busier parts of Bodrum. The hotel takes full advantage of this — you’re close enough to explore the peninsula’s famous windmills and ancient sites, but far enough away that you can actually hear the waves at night. The staff here really knows the area too, and they’ll point you toward the best local fish restaurants (there’s this one place down the road that does incredible sea bass, but I won’t spoil the surprise).

Rooms and Comfort

The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable, with that Mediterranean blue-and-white color scheme that somehow never gets old. You know what impressed me most? The attention to detail — good water pressure in the shower, blackout curtains that actually work, and air conditioning that doesn’t sound like a jet engine. It’s not groundbreaking, but it’s exactly what you want after a day of exploring or lounging by the water. The balcony views vary depending on which side you’re on, but even the garden-facing rooms are pleasant.

Activities and Amenities

The spa here is surprisingly good for a hotel this size — I mean, it’s not some massive resort complex, but the treatments are professional and the atmosphere is genuinely relaxing. There’s also a fitness center that’s well-equipped enough for a proper workout, plus a game room that’s perfect if you’re traveling with kids or just want to unwind with some billiards. The pool area gets busy during peak hours, but early morning or late afternoon, it’s your own little slice of paradise.

Why Guests Love It

Couples really seem to gravitate toward this place, and I can see why — there’s something romantic about the setting without it being overly themed or cheesy. The 8.5 rating speaks for itself, but what you’ll actually notice is how the staff remembers your name and your coffee preferences by day two. The location score of 8.9 makes perfect sense when you realize you can walk to several beaches, catch a dolmuş to other parts of the peninsula, or just settle into one of the waterfront cafes for the afternoon. It’s that sweet spot where you feel like you’ve discovered something special, but you’re not roughing it.

  Being Americans and not speaking Turkish, many of the staff spoke some English. In fact, they liked to practice with us!
  The property is beautiful! Definitely up to American standards. I love the access to the beach. The pool is inviting. The buffet is yummy. Nothing to criticize. I wish we spent one more day here.

  It was a nice boutique hotel, we stayed for 3 nights, and enjoyed very much! Would recommend stay 5-7 nights, and you can explore around the south of Turkey.
  
  1. Staff: all the hotel staff are friendly, helpful and hospitality. We feel very welcome.
  
  2.food: it is an All Inclusive hotel, and i find the food &drinks selection are plenty. Food are delicious! Definitely good value for money.
  
  3. View: beach front located, you will have a very nice peaceful sea view from the balcony.
  
  4.Spa: the most surprised part. They have a lovely spa with therapist from Indonesia. The Spa Manager Jami is a great sales :). We have tried the honeymoon package, which included Turkish Hamman + Balinese massage, total experience around 2 hours. Also you can enjoy the massage in the outdoor tent, which is lovely to experience. Overall very nice experience, and relaxed.
  
  We really had a good time with Sentido, and recommend to everyone who want to explore the south of Turkey. It gives you a difference experience compare to the North.
  
  However, you need to rent a car for the convenience, as it is about 40min driving from the Bodrum city centre.

  Although the beach area is not that big, there is sand and the water is very clear. It is difficult to find a sandy beach in Bodrum, so this is a big plus for this hotel. Staff are friendly, the facilities are great, food is tasty and evening entertainment was quite impressive!

  A very nice stay at Sentido hotel. Very kind staff, excellent room service, outstanding breakfast, lunch and dinner and Breathtaking view and nice beach area!
  
  Some suggestions about improving the concept.
  Arrange a barbecue once a week at the beach insted of a la carte dinner on a windy balcony.
  Extend the information in english at the hotel concerning what’s included, how you take the bus to Bodrum, excutcions, laundry and other ”nice to know” or FAQ
  If there is a theme for the night, why not make more focus on it.
