The three-star property sits in the Psalidi area, which honestly turned out to be one of those perfect locations where you’re close enough to everything but far enough away from the tourist chaos. I mean, Kos Town is right there when you want it, but you can actually hear yourself think at night. The studios offer an authentic experience that captures the essence of Greek hospitality.

The Location Sweet Spot

Here’s what I really appreciated — Psalidi gives you the best of both worlds. You’ve got this nice stretch of beach literally a few minutes’ walk away, and it’s way less crowded than the main town beaches. The restaurant scene around here is actually pretty solid too, with some local tavernas that don’t feel like tourist traps. What really sold me on the location was how easy it was to explore the rest of the island from here — you know, day trips to places like Kefalos or the Asklepion ruins become totally doable. The peaceful surroundings make it an ideal retreat.

The Room Experience

The studios are exactly what you’d expect — clean, functional, and surprisingly spacious for what you’re paying. Each room comes with a little kitchenette setup, which honestly saved me quite a bit of money on meals. Nothing fancy, but you can make coffee in the morning and throw together a simple breakfast or lunch. The air conditioning works well (trust me, you’ll need it in summer), and the Wi-Fi is decent enough for staying connected. Modern amenities blend seamlessly with traditional comfort.

Practical Perks

One thing that really made a difference was the free parking right on site. If you’re planning to rent a car — which I’d definitely recommend for exploring Kos — this is actually a huge deal. So many places in the area either don’t have parking or charge extra for it. The staff here are genuinely helpful too, not just going through the motions. They’ll point you toward the good beaches, help with restaurant recommendations, that sort of thing. These thoughtful touches enhance your overall stay.

The location really is excellent — couples seem to particularly love it here, probably because Psalidi has this romantic, laid-back feel without being completely isolated. You’re getting solid value for money, a great base for exploring the island, and that authentic Greek hospitality that makes you feel like you’re staying with friends rather than just checking into another hotel. It’s the kind of place where you actually end up extending your stay because everything just works perfectly.   The room was very light with mosquito nets so you could leave the windows open with no chance of mosquitoes entering the room.

  It was a small but sweet facility with 10 rooms. It had a beautiful pool which was cleaned every morning. Chickens roaming were a bonus ☺️ and of course the morning rooster!

  Outdoors was amazing, with the pool and nature around. It is very safe and comfortable, it is close to the beach and a 15 minute walk to the center. Very friendly staff, very clean. Best value for the price.

  Lovely family run, quiet appartments. Poppy and her staff are very welcoming. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean and an adequate size. We had the pool to ourselves on the days we used it. We loved all the local wildlife too that lived around the complex, especially the cats! It was a short walk to the local beaches, several lovely tavernas and around a 15-20 min walk to Kos Town. There is a bus stop which we used. But you can hire a car or hire one of the many cycles that are very popular. Some evenings we ordered on the Angelos studios food app, which was local and quick. Would definitely stay again.
